Spiritual Care of Older Adults with Dementia and Memory Impairment (1 of 2)

Rev. Howard West,  M.Ed.,  M. Div., Executive Director of Spiritual Life Services of Country Meadows Retirement Communities, is a trained counselor and ordained Presbyterian minister specializing in ministry to older adults, especially those with dementia and memory impairment issues. Rev. West presents "Understanding Psychological, Theological and Spiritual Dimensions of the Lives of Loved Ones with Dementia." After a review of these three dimensions of the life of the person with dementia, he leads a discussion on the personal experiences and challenges that people have faced while dealing with loved ones with dementia.


This lecture was presented on Sunday morning, April 6, 2014 at Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey.
