United Orphanage and Academy in Mois' Bridge, Kenya

Derry member Kristen Campbell presents the United Orphanage in the Rift Valley of Kenya, begun in 2001 with the help of Presbyterian Churches in National Capitol presbytery. The reconciliation of children from various ethnic tribes and backgrounds was a founding principle. Dormitories, toilets, kitchen and dining facilities have been constructed. The orphanage now houses 54 children and helps to educate more than 200 boys and girls. Derry’s Christmas Eve offering purchased a van for transporting these orphans and students.
