Lee Barrett, III, Professor of Systematic Theology, Lancaster Theological Seminary explores the different ways that Christians have interpreted the basic essence of the faith, and their motivations for doing so. Often these motivations are rooted in fundamentally different spiritual hungers. The class will also investigate possible ways these inevitable differences can be negotiated without splitting communities or waging congregational civil war.
Presented on Sunday, February 28, 2010 at Derry Presbyterian Church, Hershey, PA.
