Medical Mission Outreach

Jody Silliker is an RN and Lutheran minister who holds certifications in counseling, spiritual direction and bioethics. She founded Holy Spirit's Medical Outreach Service 23 years ago and, five years later, the Health Ministries of Christ Lutheran Church, Harrisburg. Jody serves as director of Medical Outreach and pastor of Christ Church. Developed for the severely low income and uninsured people of Harrisburg, the Health Ministries of Christ include a daily nursing clinic and hospitality drop-in center for the homeless, an urgent care clinic, a prenatal care clinic and a dental clinic.
